In Russia and some other countries, May 7 is celebrated as the &#8220;Day of Radio&#8221;.<br \/>\nIn connection with the 120th anniversary of this event the SRR (Soyuz Radiolyubitelei Rossii) organizes and conducts the Activity Days &#8220;120 Years of Radio.&#8221;\u00a0More info <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/radio120.hamlog.ru\/\" target=\"_blank\">radio120.hamlog.ru<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>The Activity period was\u00a0started at 21.00UTC\u00a0 UTC\u00a0 March, 31\u00a0 and will be over at 20.59 UTC April, 30, 2015.<br \/>\nThere are\u00a04 types of awards: MIXED, CW, SSB, DIGITAL. Because first ever radio transmission was on Morse code!\u00a0And this is my favorite operation mode too!!<br \/>\nIf I will have enough time and wishes, than continue hunting&#8230;<br \/>\nThe next one (DIGI grade) was received on 10.04.2015. Not sure, if I like to get the SSB grade.
