The Perseids are so called, because the point from which they appear to come, called the <a title=\"Radiant (meteor shower)\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Radiant_%28meteor_shower%29\">radiant<\/a>, lies in the constellation Perseus.<br \/>\nAnnually I working only around maximum of the stream, i.e. 10-13 of August. Usually, only looking for new callsigns, or ODX over 2000 km. In this year I make more QSOs (31 QSO), regarding \u00a0to year 2012 (22 QSO), because twice &#8220;make noise&#8221; on 144.370 Mhz and QSX to 144 .394 Mhz. This time new 15 initial QSO \u00a0and 3 of them over 2000 km: EI9E\/p (2019 km, GW6TEO (2041 km) and EI3KD (2201km).
