American Samoa (KH8) on 2M band EME

Bob Sutton, ZL1RS, made another DX-pedition to American Samoa IslandĀ  from 13th to 28th of July. Together with Lance, W7GJ they activated EME on 6 and 2 M bands. The American Samkh8oa is a small island in the Pacific Ocean. At the days, then DX-pedition started activity, it was not common window at all! First time short window (20 minutes only) appears 0n 15th of July. On 16th it was already 50 minutes, but I have no possibility even to check conditions, because was in a short holiday trip by car.
I came back from holiday on 21st. On this date we have common window with KH8 and my MR was at 22:30 utc.
kh8_zl1rsKH8/ZL1RS gives first CQ at 23:10 and I called him. Answer was immediately and we complete QSO very quick. New DXCC (#137) and new grid square (#828).
Home page of KH8/ZL1RS is here.
